Balvenie 12 Year Triple Cask is derived from whisky that has matured in a trifecta of casks, specifically; first fill American oak barrels, traditional refill casks, and first fill Oloroso ex sherry butts. The distillate is then blended in a custom wooden marrying tun and finished at 40% ABV.
